NOTE: dsv is a rain or shine event. We will halt the competition in the event of inclement weather and not reopen the pits until it is safe to do so. We will make every effort to move forward with the competition, in line with USATF protocols. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds or reschedule the competition.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

The following schedule is tentative and subject to change. All flights run back-to-back on a rolling schedule. Pits open for warm ups 45 minutes prior to comp start.

All pits open for warms up at 7:15am

- Runway is open 45 minutes for warm-ups

- Flights are designed to run approximately 2 hours for each flight

- We are operating on a rolling schedule.

- After a flight completes, runways will open for 45 minutes of warm-ups

The Dauphin Street Vault (DSV) is a world-class pole vault block party held in the heart of historic downtown Mobile, Alabama.

A USATF-sanctioned and World Athletics Challenger competition, DSV is part of the World Athletics Global Calendar and attracts athletes from across the United States and beyond, ranging from youth and masters competitors to NCAA standouts, national champions, and international elites pursuing valuable World Ranking points.

What makes DSV unique is its setting. For one weekend each summer, Dauphin Street is transformed into a championship pole vault venue, placing spectators just feet from the runway and creating an atmosphere unlike anything found inside a traditional stadium. Restaurants, bars, live entertainment, and thousands of fans combine to create one of the most distinctive experiences in track and field.

Founded as a grassroots effort to showcase the sport of pole vaulting, DSV has grown steadily over the years thanks to the support of longtime partners Mobile Sports Authority, UCS/Spirit, and Red Bull USA. Today, with the addition of Beynon Sports Surfaces, the U.S. Air Force, and USA Health Sports Medicine, the event has evolved into one of the premier street vault competitions in the United States.

DSV is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the sport of pole vaulting, promoting athlete safety, and creating opportunities for athletes of all ages and abilities to compete on the same stage.
